Nor'easter 2026!!
Once again, Mother Nature is hitting us with an unprecedented early Fall Nor'easter! Overall, our beach did quite will compared to other beaches along the Barrier Island.

While a bit of sand has washed away, the beach is pretty much the same size and the dunes held strong!!

Our lifeguards are no longer on duty and the beach is flying double red flags which means
"Water is closed to the public"

Beach Badge Check
Once again, this year, we will be checking for beach badges on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. We need volunteers - checking badges is a great way to say Hi to friends and meet new neighbors who live in Normandy Shores.
Badge check sessions are either two or four hours and go from 10 am to 2 pm. We are flexible with schedules. You will be provided with all information and what to do before each shift!
Beach Badges for Renters
If you rent your house, the renters must purchase beach badges. Per our NSBC bylaws, member beach badges are not to be used by renters.
Click here to access the 2026 Renters Beach Badge Order Form which can be sent to the renter and in turn be submitted to NSBC along with payment. Upon receipt of payment, badges will be readied and made available either at Jen and Will McNeely (24 Jacobsen Lane) or through the badge checker on duty.
